Runners Pro Tools Privacy Policy
Overview
Runners Pro Tools is an offline-first Android app for running calculations, race planning, and training support.
The app does not require an account, does not use cloud sync, does not include advertising, and does not send your entered data to a server.
Data Stored On Your Device
Runners Pro Tools may store the following information on your device so that the app can remember your settings and tool inputs:
- App settings, such as theme and metric or imperial units.
- Pace Pro race distance, finish time, and calculation settings.
- Heart Rate Zones inputs, such as maximum heart rate, resting heart rate, lactate threshold heart rate, and selected calculation model.
- Ultra Pace race plans, including race name, distance, start time, cutoffs, aid stations, notes, and goal times.
- Age Grade Performance inputs, including selected race distance, sex, date of birth, and finish time.
This information is stored locally on your device using Android local storage technologies such as Room and DataStore.
Data Collection, Use, And Sharing
Runners Pro Tools does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.
The app does not send your race data, heart-rate data, date of birth, settings, or saved plans to the developer or to any third party.
The app does not currently use analytics, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting services, account services, or remote servers.
The locally stored data is used only to provide the app's running tools, save your inputs, and restore your preferred app settings.
Internet And Network Use
Runners Pro Tools is designed to work offline after installation.
The app does not require internet access for its core tools. Age Grade Performance uses bundled local benchmark records included with the app.
The current Android app does not request the Android internet permission.
Android Backup And Device Transfer
Runners Pro Tools allows Android system backup and device transfer for its local database and app preferences.
If Android backup or device transfer is enabled on your device or Google account, Android may include Runners Pro Tools local data in that system-managed backup or transfer process. Runners Pro Tools does not operate that backup service and does not receive the backed-up data.
Data Retention
Data entered into Runners Pro Tools remains on your device until you delete it.
You can clear saved data inside the app using:
- Per-tool clear data actions.
- The Settings screen's clear all app data action.
You can also remove local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage through Android system settings.
Data Security
Because Runners Pro Tools stores data locally, access to that data is governed by your device security and Android's app sandboxing.
You should use your device's built-in security features, such as a lock screen, to help protect local app data.
If Android backup is enabled, protection of backed-up data is handled by Android and the relevant Google account or device-transfer services.
Accounts
Runners Pro Tools does not offer user accounts or sign-in.
Because the app does not create accounts, there is no app account to delete. You can delete local app data using the in-app clear data controls, Android system settings, or by uninstalling the app.
Children's Privacy
Runners Pro Tools is intended as a general running utility and is not directed at children.
The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children or transmit user data to the developer.
Changes To This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the app's behaviour changes.
If future versions add online services, analytics, accounts, advertising, or data sharing, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety section should be updated before release.
